I have been using system restore and turning off windows update but every few days the updates come back on and I have no internet again. Install important updates only and use Toshiba drivers only. When I run trouble shooting it says a possible driver issue, but if I check the driver it says working correctly. I hope your restore point will be there. Windows updates are listed as important and optional.

TOSHIBA Re: No Internet on Satellite Pro C – TOSHIBA FORUM
The newest Realtek WLan driver can be downloaded here: Hello Again Macius Thank you for your replies, time, and patience, as I’m sure you have figured out I’m not very good with this sort of stuff I am sorry to keep writing about Atheros but when I am on Toshiba’s website and I put in my serial number it says it came with that card anyway I dont really care if another driver works thats great, I didn’t get a cd of windows 7 I bought the laptop toshiba satellite pro c660 network controller it came with win 7 already loaded it’s an oem version, so I dont know how to reformat without a cd, I had no problems until the gaurantee ran out in december when I plug in the ethernet cable nothing happens, when I go into control panel, network and internet, network connections it says enabled but in status it reads not connected, if I click diagnose it says there may be a driver issue any ideas or tutorials you can point me towards I tought replacing the card would be a cheaper toshiba satellite pro c660 network controller of fixing it instead of leaving it in to be fixed all help greatly appreciated D.
Results 1 to 11 of Hi Guys I am very pleased to say it has nothing to do with the lan or wlan drivers it was an AVG driver issue with win 7 I had to uninstall AVG completly and get new internet security all sorted now Thank you both for your time and patience, I have a very old laptop which I rarely use it has a usb wireless connection so I plugged that toshiba satellite pro c660 network controller and that didn’t work either so that proved it wasn’t Realtek drivers Thanks again D.
It used to be Atheros but now its Realtek, was working great until Windows update, now no connection it just says limited access, even though there are 5 full bars showing, there is a yellow mark on it.
